Choir

The Choir at St. Mark's is comprised of dedicated vounteer and professional singers who lead the worship at the 10 am Sunday Eucharist in concert with the clergy, servers, acolytes and layreaders from September–June. Their repertoire is drawn from the great tradition of the Episcopal church and consists of anthems and motets from the 16th-21st centuries. Special emphasis is placed each week on the preparation of hymns, service music and chanting the Psalms to Anglican Chant. Rehearsals on held on Sundays, before and after the 10 am service. Membership is open to all members of the parish and cumminty.

Special Music Events

In addition, we offer special musical programs during the year to supplement the spiritual life of the parish. Often these programs support parish fellowship events or other parish ministries such as Outreach. Our programs use the many wonderfully gifted musicians at St. Mark's and are an important forum for community building within the parish and for outreach to the community beyond.
